Hi, I’m Lucy — a wedding and portrait photographer based in Portsmouth.

My love for photography began at college, where I could often be found tucked away in the darkroom, experimenting with different printing techniques and developing new ideas. I quickly realised that when I had a camera in my hands, I completely lost myself in the creative process. That passion led me to pursue photography as a career — and I’ve never looked back.

I chose to specialise in wedding photography because I’ve always had a natural eye for capturing life’s unexpected, meaningful moments. There’s something truly special about weddings — the atmosphere, the emotion, the joy. Every celebration is unique, and I love telling each couple’s story in an authentic and beautiful way.

My style is natural and relaxed, with minimal editing. I focus on capturing genuine moments as they unfold, rather than overly posed images.

I understand that not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera, which is why I work in a calm and unobtrusive way. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, and you should be able to enjoy every second without worrying about the photographs. I’ll blend into the background, capture the memories, and let you focus on celebrating — I’ll take care of the rest.

With over 10 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I still genuinely love what I do — and I feel incredibly lucky to be part of so many special moments.
